So you've decided to start a software company and manage it using the lean startup methodology. You've started by constructing a very basic minimum viable product such as a landing page or static html pages, and have seen a pretty good response to your idea. The time has come to test your idea further by building a functional prototype. If your programming skills are good and you're able to complete the prototype in a reasonable time frame, it's always a good option to try building it yourself.
