I should be clear about something–I don’t really hate all business books, and there are some that can be hugely beneficial for the majority of people to read. That being said, most business books, at least for entrepreneurs, are a colossal waste of time. I know a few people (and some founders) who swear by books like Good to Great. I have a lot of respect for some of these people, and they’ve built very successful businesses. But I think that their reliance on books like this is misplaced.
