Confidence among Silicon Valley venture capitalists declined in the second quarter, suggesting a tougher road ahead for initial public offerings. That’s according to a survey of 32 venture capitalists in Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area, which blamed the drop to worries about the global economy and uncertainty about how new financial rules will affect their industry, according to the Silicon Valley Venture Capitalists Confidence Index.
